Fall League 2009
Announcing the Milwaukee Ultimate Club 2009 Fall Ultimate League!!

UPDATE: Registration is currently full for men. Any male registrations moving forward will be waitlisted in case we get enough women to add additional teams, or if others drop out. Any registration fees paid by waitlisted players will be refunded if they are not placed on a team.

There will again be two leagues with both held at Juneau High School Registration is now open!
Both leagues will run approximately 10 weeks long.

Nightly Information

Games will start at 6:40 and 8:20. Schedule will be announced when the teams have been formed and sent out.
Important Note: We have limited availability for these fields. If we have any cancellations due to weather, then the games will be made up by scheduling doubleheaders and shortening the games slightly for a couple of weeks. (Most likely, games will start at 6:15, 7:30, & 8:45, have a very strict 1.25 hour time cap, and will be played to 13)

   Monday Nights 6:40PM and 8:20PM games

Tuesday Night League Register for the Tuesday league now!
When: Starting Tuesday September 15th
   Tuesday Nights 6:40PM and 8:20PM games

Cost: $25
Registration: Registration will close when we are full or by 5:00pm on 9/5/2009 – Team, Individual, or buddy sign-up – Volunteer to be a captain!


Milwaukee Ultimate Club Rules:
All players must have signed a waiver for 2009 BEFORE they play
All payments must be made before a player will be considered registered for the league. Anyone not paid will not be put on a team.
Any player not on the initial team roster will not be allowed to play unless the following conditions are met:
    They have turned in a waiver for 2009
    They have paid any league fees as determined by the league director (if they are a team addition)
    They have been given the okay to play by the opposing team captain (if they are just playing for one week)
All players must play within the spirit of the game, gross violations of this rule may result in the player being removed from their team.

Ultimate Rules:
We will abide by the 11th edition rules of ultimate set forth by the Ultimate Players association (www.upa.org) with the following modifications:
Games will be played to 15
Time Cap: Time cap begins 1.5 hours after the scheduled start of the game.
At the time cap finish the point you are on, if the game is tied play one more point to decide the winner. Time cap may be called earlier at the discretion of both captains of the playing teams or the league directors due to the onset of darkness.
Brick Mark: 15 yards.

Sign-up Options:
Players may sign up as individuals, with a buddy, with a group of buddies, or as a team (team sign-up for Tuesday night only).
Individual Signup:
Players are encouraged to sign-up as individuals players who sign up as individuals will be placed on a team with other individual registrants or with buddy groups with an effort made to keep the teams as equal as possible.

Buddy Sign-up:
Sign-up with a buddy! - when registering each buddy must list their buddy on the registration form. To sign-up with a buddy, you must all enter the same "baggage password" on the registration form.

Group Sign-up:
A group of four buddies may sign-up to play on the same team with no more than two members of each gender. For example:2 males and 2 females may sign-up together, 2 males and 1 female, 2 females and 1 male. Buddy Groups will be placed on a team with other buddy groups or with individual registrants with an effort made to keep the teams as equal as possible. To sign-up with buddies, you must all enter the same "baggage password" on the registration form.

Team Sign-up:
Players may sign up as a team as long as the team contains at least 5 players of each gender and a total of at least 12 players. To sign-up as a team, all players must register individually and you must all enter the same "baggage password" on the registration form. A team is not considered registered until the number and gender of registered players fulfills the rule listed above. Any team signup for Tuesdays that is deemed inappropriate for the Beginner/Intermediate league on Tuesdays (by the league coordinators) will be asked to either switch to Mondays or split up into buddy groups.

Selection Format:
Teams will be selected by the league organizers with an effort made to keep all teams equal. Complete teams that sign-up will play together; however, depending on the number of registrations, players may be added to the team. Teams that are not complete at the close of the sign-up period may be split apart at the discretion of the league directors to keep the league teams as equal as possible.
